Marketing module overview
The Email Marketing product enables planners to market their event and run effective email marketing campaigns to promoting events. The Marketing module, one of the core modules of Aventri, can be used on its own or in conjunction with the Registration module.
Here you can create and monitor your email campaigns in one place.
Mailing lists
Upload your list of email address and names in to a mailing list. Include as much or as little information as you like. Email address, first name and last name are the minimum you should include.
You could create mailing lists for each event, or for each type of person in the list (staff, faculty, students, guests, VIPs, etc.).
Each mailing list keeps track of the emails it has been used in.
Emails
Create, manage and monitor email campaigns. You can create HTML/Text emails, HTML only or text only emails.
Note: it is a best practice to send HTML and Text versions of an email in an email campaign. A well-designed and tested HTML/Text email has a better chance of arriving in your subject's inbox as designed, increasing likelihood of getting results you want.
Linking an email to an event registration leverages many additional features of the Aventri platform, such as the comprehensive RSVP report (in registration) for tracking your invitations from send to registered. You can view all emails linked to a registration on the registration's Overview page.
After sending an email using a Mailing List, you can track a host of analytics, including received, opens, bounces, and more.
