Modification/Cancellation permissions

You can allow your attendees to return to their registrations to modify or cancel with the Registration modification permissions feature. Go to Event Info>Registrant Rules.

Note: Modifications and cancellations are enabled by default in the ASU Basic Event Template.

To disable the feature, uncheck the Allow registrants to log back in to their registrations and modify field and Save & Stay.

Options you may select:

Fields required for Attendees to log into Stova

These are the unique fields that the attendee will use to log into their registration on the Modification webpage.

The default fields are the Email address and Reference number. (Each attendee is provided a unique Reference number in their confirmation email.)

Allow modifications to information on the following pagesChoose the sections of the registration that attendees can modify.
Modifying a group booking

Choose who can modify registrations when the group registration permissions are enabled.

Options are:

  • The Primary Attendee only
  • Each attendee in the group can modify their own
  • Each attendee in the group can modify anyone in the group
Allow modifications per CategoryChoose which categories can modify their registrations. Option to select the page they will be directed to after logging in.

Modification instructions in the Confirmation Email

Since the modification feature is enabled by default in the ASU Basic Event Template, the pre-programmed Confirmation email includes instructions on how the attendee may return to their registrations, including a special link to the modification log in page.

If you disable the modification/cancellation feature, you should edit the Confirmation email.
