ASU Event Templates

Each ASU unit is provided with an event file which has been customized by the Stova@ASU account admins for use as a template when creating a new event. This event template has enabled the most requested registration features, supplied event emails for the most common event planner needs, and programmed the look & feel of all graphic elements to meet ASU branding standards. 

The event template file itself should never be altered by a user. It should be kept as a template Master and cloned to create a new event.

If a unit wishes to create a template Master for their own unit, they should first clone the ASU event template, name as their unit's Event Template and then customize the clone for their needs.

The ASU Template - Basic Event template has enabled the following features:

• Included one (1) general purpose Category
• Saved the most common Attendee Questions to the Active Questions tab, and saved the remaining questions to the Inactive tab (see Attendee Info tab)
• Enabled Group registration permissions to allow adding additional attendees to a registration (see Event Info>Registrant Rules section)
• Enabled Registration modification permissions to allow an attendee to return to their registration and modify or cancel their registration (see Event Info>Registrant Rules section)
• Added a series of headers and footers based on site page (see Look & Feel>Headers/Footers section)
• Added the ASU logo as the event logo  (see Look & Feel>Event Logo section)
• Provided ASU branding format and colors to site 
• Enabled Pre-load Data function to prepopulate attendee question fields from previous registrations to ASU events (see Adv. Settings>Pre-load Data section).
• Provided event emails for:
  • Confirmation
  • Incomplete registration (sent if registrant leaves the registration site open for longer than 30 minutes)
  • Updated confirmation
  • Cancellation confirmation
  • Waitlist confirmation
  • Invitation to register from waitlist (custom)
  • Reminder (custom)

Location

The ASU Template - Basic Event template is located in the 01 ASU Templates folder, inside your team folder.

Updates

From time to time, the Stova@ASU account admins update the ASU Basic Event template with new features and program adjusts. You can see the latest version number and list of updates in the Event Template Change Log.
